Listen to the other is if they were a book. There is no competition: just an open mic and three minutes to share. In these monthly sessions poetry will dialogue in a thematic encounter with scientists, musicians, filmmakers, academics, performers, and the general public.

Santa Slam. Tira verbo, tira barrio

A local spoken word poetry tournament where contenders read their texts, memories of thir own or even improvise for no longer than three minutes, in front of an jury chosen by the audience. The goal is to create the hood through orality, listening and congregation amongst the people who live or transit in Santa María la Ribera. It occurs every send friday monthly.

Santa Slam, tira verbo, tira barrio its created by the Centro Transdisciplinario Poesía y Trayecto AC, under Cynthia Franco and Karloz Atl management, within the "Haz un libro & Haz barrio" reading and writing promotion program in Santa Maria la Ribera, in colaboration with the Museo Universitario del Chopo.
